We stumbled across a stack of unopened Amazon mystery boxes at a garage sale, and naturally three resellers decided to risk $60 each to see who could uncover the best inventory.
Rev Resale opened the first box and found enough nuts and Starbucks espresso to start a small convenience store. Our box contained fiber-optic cables, LED note boards, artificial flowers and a few questionable surprises. Then Tennessee Picker opened his box and things got serious: Korean skincare, makeup, Tide Pods, jewelry, suspicious gold Pokémon cards and plenty more.
Altogether, we spent $180 on three mystery boxes. Were they packed with profitable inventory or did we just pay for someone else’s unwanted stuff?
