Another drink challenge! More clear beverages. It’s chaos in Japan with invisible refreshment!
Lipton Creamy Uji Matcha Latte vs Asahi Clear Latte Matcha

The clear Latte is another in a series of clear drinks from ASAHI. The pros are that it’s calorie free and gives a nice, light drinking experience. The cons are that the milk / cream taste is very slight and it’s mostly water. It’s a matcha tea extract.
The Lipton matcha tea latte is very good but too sweet. The bitterness of the matcha is not at notable and the sweetness overpowers the pleasant bitterness.

Asahi Clear Latte is about ¥100 at supermarkets and convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Lawson’s and the Lipton is ¥138 at supermarkets. Try both of your in Japan and compare.
