I still remember the first time I saw the Kickstarter trailer for this game. I was blown away by it's beautiful, 16 Bit fluid graphics. I kept a close eye on it's development and soon learned that the awesome, Seville based team was working hard on this Metroidvania. A lot of it's influences come from the Catholic rituals and culture of the region and it was a great concept for this dark, gory and hard as nails game.
Time had passed and I carried on with other things as one does. before I knew it, Limited Run Games had released physical copies and I missed out. A sealed Collector's Edition from LRG on sites like eBay were being sold at extortionate prices. I was at the point past the FOMO stage.
After patience and checking the internet, I soon learned that The Game Kitchen partnered with SelectaPlay and were going to release the game in it's native country of Spain in all its physical glory. I have spread the word on this channel about this physical release, but don't worry if you are unable to grab a copy; Team17, The Game Kitchen have partnered with Sold Out to release the game once again.
This Game is special because it is the example of an indie developer that put all the passion they had into an incredible project. Furthermore, it shows that small teams can sometimes achieve the greatest feats within Gaming.
